The New York Flute Club held its first Young Musicians Contest, designed for pre-collegiate flutists, on Sunday March 16, 2008. We are happy to announce the following winners:

• Ages 8 and under: Esther Song
• Ages 9-11: Michelle Phillippi
• Ages 12-14: Melissa Aleles
• Ages 15-17: Claire Maby

The winners from each category will perform in a concert at 10:45 am at the New York Flute Fair on Sunday, March 30.

Bravo to all of the performers who participated in this competition! Everyone will receive a certificate and comment sheets from the judges. Be sure to attend the winners concert at the Flute Fair to be recognized and receive your certificate.
